One World Through Beauty
Since man first began to communicate and leave records of his
Culture for future generations, he has venerated beauty – beauty
In all it’s many forms. Without any exception, all cultures, from
Those who painted on cave walls, to those that created classic
Sculptures and paintings, all have adored, above all, the beauty of
young women.
The beauty of women has always in recorded history, been
strong enough to endur the wrath of God, as Eve in the Book of
Genesis, to cause Nations to war with one another as Helen of
Troy, or to have millions weep with her in an hour of tragedy, such
as Jacqueline Kennedy.
Nothing in the world’s entire existence has been so universally
Accepted or acknowledged as the beauty of women, be it religion,
art, music or any cultural form of expression.
If then the world has this one common denominator, may not
The universality of beauty be used to foster peace? Why cannot
Nations of the world by competing with one another on fields of
Combat where the weapons of war are the swimsuit, the evening
gown, and the miter and garland of roses?
To take the one avenue upon which all nations traverse and
From that build intersecting arteries into other fields of endeavor,
and therefore, promote brotherhood, understanding, and above
all, a true and lasting peace among all the nations of the world.
